Why is my smart charging location not recognized?

We may not be able, due to various reasons, to read the location of your car. If it cannot be verified that it is charging at home, we cannot drive the session. The reasons that the location is not recognized vary by brand. Here are the most common reasons. Does it still not work? Feel free to contact us through cargainteligente@frankenergy.com

Tesla:
A phonekey is missing from the vehicle. To control the charging of your vehicle, you need to re-pair your vehicle with this app. To do this, you must go through the original pairing process in the Frank app again. Make sure you are in the car so you can complete the Bluetooth pairing step toward the end of the pairing process.

BMW:
To recognize the location, the GPS positioning service must be enabled. You can do this by going to settings, then open the settings menu on your car's infotainment system. Find and select the option to enable the GPS positioning service. For detailed instructions specific to your car model, check the BMW manual here.

Volkswagen:
To read the vehicle's location remotely, the update “ID software 3.0” must be installed in the car. Please note that this may require a visit to a service point.
