How is my Solar Wallet balance deducted from my bill?

When your bill is issued, we first calculate the cost of the electricity you have consumed and the compensation for the surplus electricity you have fed back into the grid.

If the compensation for your surplus electricity is higher than the cost of the electricity you have consumed (excluding network charges and regulated charges), the difference is added to your Solar Wallet. You can find this amount in the "Generated Energy Charges" table under "Solar surplus balance".

Next, if you already had a balance in your Solar Wallet before your bill was issued, it will be automatically used to reduce the total amount of your bill. This discount appears in the "Other" section of your bill under "Virtual Battery Discount".

The balance generated on your current bill is not used to reduce that same bill. Instead, it is added to your Solar Wallet and will be applied automatically to your future bills.

Your Solar Wallet balance can be used to reduce the total amount of your bill, including all bill components, until the balance due reaches €0.
